What does HTTP 404 mean?
HTTP 404 indicates a broken link where the requested page or asset no longer exists on the destination server.
What is a redirect?
A redirect (HTTP 301 or 302) automatically routes visitors from an old URL to a new target destination URL.
Can ToolJi check an entire website?
Yes. By selecting 'Entire Website', ToolJi crawls internal pages belonging to the same domain (up to 50 pages max) and compiles a unified link audit report.
How many pages can ToolJi check?
In 'This Page' mode, ToolJi inspects 1 single URL. In 'Entire Website' mode, ToolJi crawls up to 50 internal pages per run.
Does ToolJi check external links?
Yes. ToolJi verifies the HTTP status of external links loaded by your pages. However, external websites are never crawled as part of your site's pages.
Why might a link show as unreachable?
A link may show as unreachable if the server times out (6s cap), blocks automated requests via firewall, or has DNS resolution issues.
Does ToolJi store my website data?
No. All link auditing is performed dynamically on demand without permanently storing website content.
